Hold me Closer Necromancer by Lish McBride

I thoroughly enjoyed this book.  There was a touch of romance, just enough for my tastes.  You will find Good vs Evil and man the evil is intense.  Necromancy, Ware-wolves, witches, hybrids, skateboards, a talking severed head, and more.  I can't wait to read the sequel.

Some Girls Are by Courtney Summers

I couldn't sleep until I finished this book.  It is an uncomfortable read regarding girl bullying.  One girl rules the school, everyone else is her minion.  Then things these kids do to each other is unbelievable.
There are no caring adults in this book, including the parents.  After reading this book,  maybe I'm glad I was never a part of the "in" group.
